anyway, FIRST OF ALL
updates on the mission. so they're thinking about making the areas here ZEBRA!!!!!!!!!!!! which means we would teach english AND spanish, just have everyone, cause i dunno why but this Tampa area is a litttttttle bit slow.... THERE IS SO MUCH WORK TO DO! really! we're always busy! but for some reason it just isn't very effective number wise so President (who is SUPER get things done, and make everything better than yesterday) is constantly just trying to figure out what is gonna get the work moving. it's awesome, he's a great president. anyways so THAT would be weird.... I'm actually really freaked out because white people culture is way different from hispanics... like..... you guys. WAY different. haha whenever I meet someone english, I go to kiss and hug them and they put their hand out to shake and i'm like wooooooaaaaaah okay OH my bad. eh hem. and shake their hand. haha BUT it'll be fun if we do! if i don't get transferred out this next transfer actually... i've been here for almost 7 months sooo... :( I HOPE NOT. but we'll see.
ANYWAY. uhh what else. CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!! heheeeEE! i used to be a hater on christmas music outside of november but i listen to it all the time now.... in the morning when it's still kinda dark and the blinds are closed it looks like it could totally be snowing outside so i'm gonna turn the AC way down in December and cuddle up and drink hot chocolate... :) haha

guys i LITRally don't think you could understand a missionaries excitement for conference. it is THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR. um i am dying. haha seriously. MOTAB! i love it more than life now! we enjoy it's melodious sweet notes every bright, new fresh morning! just preparing for the BEST TWO DAYS ever... oh man.

eh hem. let's see.
WE TAUGHT OMAR. well kinda... hahaha it was the funniest lesson ever. we brought a girl in the ward who's getting ready to go on her mission, she's awesome, and we went and he wasn't there but we waited and right before we were gonna leave a friend of his pulled up with him in the car, he got out and stumbled over to us... :( DRUNK. I hate beer. more than life. anyway, we decided to just TRY and give him an answer though. teach a little bit, cause his wasn't too drunk, but every time we would start he would be like... wait..... you haven't answered my question!!! and we'd be like... OMAR. WILL YOU PLEASE just.... just listen. hahaha our member was trying so hard not to laugh. he kept calling her the mexican, she's not from mexico. and he was just. oh man. just a testimony that the word of Wisdom is there for a reason.... but he started crying though, cause he said no one has ever tried so hard with him. man.... i can just SEE him all cleaned up and happy and baptized and not drunk.... guys it'll happen. i know it, i have a lot of faith with this guy. WOO!!!! i'm excited. anyway.
weeeeeelll here's a funny story maybe not mission appropriate IIIIII honestly don't know sometimes. hahaha but i'll tell it. we went to the Morenos to teach, ALSO funny cause we were gonna teach the WoW and we come up to alfredo and his friend drinking outside. hahaha anyway we went in and we started talking with the mom and daughter and suddenly their son comes in with a bunny. and Olivia is like.. WOOOAAh what is THAT?? another?? haha they already had one and they got another without telling her, so we took it out to the back so she could show us the other bunny, and they put them in with eachother....... and they're sniffing and all, and joanna (the 4 yr old) is like awwww they're kissing! and THEN............... well. turns out it was a girl and a boy bunny.........................
HAHA Olivia just gasped and looked at us in shock like WOAH THEY did not wait a second for that. we were laughing SO HARD. hahahaha she starts trying to shake the cage cause the kids are all freaking out, Joselyn (11) runs inside and says i'm too young to see that!!!! and joanna(4) thinks they're trying to kill eachother cause she's almost in tears screaming at their first bunny to stop hurting her, and their dog is trying to get in and eat them. hahaha it was so funny. oh man. i'm cracking up just remembering. ANYWAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

i can't think of much that happened this week... we had an awesome zone conference with one of the 70, a lot on personal revelation. and basically i just LOVE EVERY DAY HERE. well some days are rough. haha but i still love it. I seriously will never regret a second of this mission. I don't wanna waste any time either!!! we only get this TIIIIINNNYYYY bit of time in our lifes to do this.... gotta take advantage of every second, and work hard to get the blessings of the Lord.
guys, something cool this week i learned was acting on faith. I've learned a lot, and been told a lot, that when you pray for something, you gotta actually do something about it to receive an answer and get the blessing! God doesn't just throw things in our laps all the time. he expects us to show some effort.
something cool an apostle or someone said, that i may or may not have quoted already... is that for example, people pray for the sick and anyone who wasn't able to make it to church, that they'll be able to come next week, then you BETTER go and do something about it to get them to come! we ask for SO MUCH. and then we just go back to our normal daily routines expecting God to do everything for us. that is not what this life is for, this life is to learn and grow and be ABLE to do hard things. The Lord has given us a promise that he will always be there for us when we need help, and every other moment of every day, but that doesn't mean he's ya know our butler or something... haha I wanna promise you all that he will provide a way for you. he will HELP, he will give you strength, but if you aren't seeing miracles or answers in your life, than make sure you look at what your doing on your end, make sure you're doing your part so that the Lord can bless you with everything he wants to give you.
like the other day, all our plans fell through, no one was answering, all our back ups fell through, we were sitting in the car and said a prayer to know what to do, waiting for a second, didn't feel any specific promptings, then remembered we gotta just start working and he'll guide us, so we started walking and there was a guy outside, seemed angry... talked to us angrily at first, but ended up being a really great conversation and now we're teaching him and he's reading the BoM. it's super simple and not that cool... haha but i thought it was cool! ya know? just a little testimony to everything we'd been learning before!
ANYWAY. i love you all so much. I am SO grateful for examples and support and love and letters and everything. i am really gettin humbled every day... haha i am in love with the people here, I know the gospel is truth, and will always be truth, no matter who believes it, no matter what anyone says. truth is truth. i am reminded constantly that the gospel doesn't need to be defended or fought for in anger or frustration or anything like that, we don't have to worry because it's already true! and that won't change.
