oh my gosh HOW IS EVERYONE??
i hope just a ball of joy and fun everyone is at this very moment cause i'm just so dang excited to be ALIVE RIGHT NOW. haha
once again i make an official apology for my bad grammar and spelling. i write too fast and my mind is moving like a billion miles an hour and i feel like the squirrel on coffee on that one movie and i JUST CAN'T FOCUS!!!! haha where do i begin.........
okay i can't remember what happened this week.... i have to go to the bathroom..... it's raining really hard and i'm excited to go eat.... and it's been stormy all day :) WOOOOOOOOO. anyway. OKAY FOCUS.
okay. this week. was grand. GRAND. is that with an e or not? i dunno.
okay anyway, well let's see.
here's a cool story!
so there's this guy we are kiiiinda teaching.... we've been trying to teach him.... he's always super drunk when we go over. it's really sad that is literally all he does when he isn't working, there's always 6 or 7 beer cans on the ground. :( and so we can NEVER teach him and make him promise not to drink the next time we come. cause he really does have intentions to learn! he is super confused about life and about all the religions and about God and wants us to tell him but he just is having a hard time, ANYWAY so we saw him one day and he was drunk again so we left and told him when we'd be back, and then later that day a bunch of appt's fell through and we were like... well... we gotta fill up our tank! so we went to the gas station and the card machine wasn't working! so i went to a different machine and it wasn't working either! i was like ooooh my land okay let's just go inside.... SO we went inside.... AND GUESS WHO WE CATCH ABOUT TO BUY A 6 OR 8 OR SOME # PACK OF BEER. omar... it's true! and we stop and he sees us and he's like... oooh shoot.. and we just point to the beer and are like what are you doing? and he looks and then gets a super sad face and is like. i wanna change... and so we go outside and talk for a while, and he's still drunk, but he's like man you guys are the angels on my shoulders! and we're like yep. well... then we pep talked him up and committed him to quiting and coming to church etc etc, haha so anyways that was pretty cool. i think :)
OKAY let's see so rosa y Jose. okay i told you about them right? and how he's 70 and plays soccer with 20 year olds every saturday and sunday so he can't come to church? haha well oh my HEAVENS I LOVE THEM. i think that they are probably just one of the cutest couple ever and so dang funny. they bicker all the time but are just laughing at eachother while they bicker and usually they both talk at the same time to us and we're just trying to hear both and it's impossible and then we all laugh and ANYWAY THEY ARE THE BEST. haha so cute.
so we were teaching them and once again they were like well we were pretty down before you all came but whenever you come we get so happy and when we read this book and we feel so good! and we're like RIGHT?? WE KNOW!!!!! and i was like okaaaayyou guys.... you feel the spirit, you recognize it's truth, now that's why we want you baptized on this date! and rosa started cracking up she thinks it's funny how blunt we are about it. hahaha it's not that funny she just laughs at everything! i love it.
anyway Jose said the closing prayer though and heeeee was adorable :) it was SO HUMBLE and cute and HE PRAYED TO HEAVENLY FATHER NOT TO CHRIST!!!!!!!!! so that was a big step. and at the end he closed it wrong, and rosa was like Jose, it's in the naaaaame of jesus christ amen! you said it wrong! and he threw his hands up and gasped and covered his face and was like nooooo and rosa was just laughing at him, hahaha it was so funny, and he redid it. oh man i can't get ENOUGH OF THIS MISSION.
anyway i feel like i just go on for a long time and i don't want this to get boring! it's not boring for me cause i LOVE THEM SO MUCH but i hope you all aren't bored. haha
OKAY ANYWAY. i seriously can't think of anything.... WHAT IS HAPPENING.... well. in english class we went over the alphabet and GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DANG it english letters and everything MAKE NO SENSE. i was just like whaaaaaaaaaaat why is this a rule in english... who made this up... why.... haha i love spanish.
uh lets see. oh here's a funny story! hahaha so sometimes i'll kinda wake up like 8% and go do something in the house, and the other night i was like baaaarely awake but my mouth tasted funny so i went and i got the mouth wash but i couldn't see anything cause the lights were off and i started pouring it in the lid and i kept pouring and then i realized i was pouring it on the floor and overflowing the cap and then i swished and went to bed... hahaha so. yeah. chuckled about that one.
okay AND we're on an english fast again for hna despain and if you talk in english 3 times it's no sweets for a WEEK. what.. yeah i lost the FIRST DAY. so i made a new rule, if you do 200 push ups in that day you can start over. but i haven't done them yet, but i've also eaten sweets... and i still accidentally keep talking in english... so... basically i suck. hahaha just KIDDING I'M GONNA DO THE PUSH UPS TODAY I PROMISE. ............
WEEEEEEll guys i gotta get goin but let me just tell ya i've learned a lot this week. i'll been humbled a lot too. there is a purpose in everything, do not question God, just work. that's basically what I got from most of my experiences this week. I need to focus on the fact that God doesn't just sit back and relax and enjoy the show of us struggling and trying to figure out what to do, he is ACTIVELY involved in every single one of our lives every second of every day and he does never and WILL never forget about any one of us for a second. he is here and we are where we are supposed to be, if WE are doing all we can than he can help us. if we give up, or stop, or complain, or question him, or are disobedient, well.... he can't help us. we, sometimes without knowing it, are basically telling him we don't need the hand he is reaching out. Even though they are little moments, the moments i question even for a minute about why something happened and i get frustrated and say AH, heavenly father will you just let that work?? will you just let us find someone? will you just tell me what to do? i am forgetting that he is NOT not doing anything. he is ALWAYS working HIS hardest to help us, he knows what we need, every day, so just take what he gives you and hold tight to his hand and he'll take you where you need to go. it'll be a lot easier than you trying to do it your way.
EVERYONE. don't forget to pray, pray so hard every day, don't forget to LOVE, give EVERYone time and don't think about yourself, don't forget to LAUGH. seriously, this life is for our JOY. don't forget to study the scriptures, they'll heal the wounded heart. :) jacob 2:8
