oooooh boy okay this week was nuts and there is NO TIME!!! and i have so many thoughts running through my head i DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START.
well first of all. let me saaaaaay....
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay well FIRST LET ME TELL YOU A MIRACLE!
me and hna meldau got a call from the elders, they gave us a less active cause she's a single woman and they could never go in, so we decided to go visit her cause our plans fall through, we go and she's WAY cool and her kids are adorable, and someone comes home and she's says it's their dad! (they're divorced) SO....... the man comes in. i say hello, we figure out he lives in my old area! and is a member! i ask who his mom is... and he shows me a picture...... AND IT'S A MEMBER I KNEW! and then i say wait.... what's your name again?? and he says.. NAYIB!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WAS A LESS ACTIVE THAT I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR IN MY LAST AREA FOR LIKE 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we had NEVER been able to find or contact him but his mom just told us to keep trying!!! isn't that NUTS??? yeah it was the coolest ever. so we're gonna start teaching them and his son wants to be baptized, soooo that's like the COOLEST THING EVER RIGHT??? i know. haha ANYWAY
OKAY AND HOLY MOLY WE HAVE A BAPTISMAL DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHh!!!!!!!!!! the sisters before had been teaching a less active family, TURNS out only the mom is a member and everyone else just has a membership number cause they were blessed as babies, SO we are teaching them and we challenge lindsay and she is the sweetest and she says YEEEEESSSSS!!! AHHHHHHH!!!! best day of my life. and soon we'll reactivate the mom and baptize the brother AND THEN THE OTHER SISTER AND THEN THE CHILDREN AND THEN THE STUBBORN FATHER!!!! WOOOO!!!!
oooooh and here's a cool story. okay well let me just START with the morning. so i was kinda havin a little doubtful morning, and like... sooo heavenly father.... you say... there are people ready, and waiting, and i just have not been finding any. where are they? why do we have no success?? guys i'm not proud of my moments of doubt but they come! haha anyway so i was like HELP ME UNDERSTAND. and theeeen after my prayer i started studies, and guys.... i was like. hard core chastened. hahaha it was really cool though, i was just guided to scripture after scripture and was looking through my old study journal and entry after entry was like testimony about the Lord keeping promises and how if they aren't being fulfilled it's cause we aren't doing our part and THEN just about the Lord making us stronger and helping us and etc etc and it was super awesome. it was insane every scripture i was just like oookay i get it... OOOKAY I REALLY GET IT I PROMISE! hahaha and THEN!...... and then. i was like hyped up and YEAH! let's do this!!! so we go out, and holy moly i can't even tell you the AMOUNT OF MIRACLES THAT DAY!!! that's when we got our baptismal date, AND we found a golden investigator, AND we were WAY succesful with our investigator George, he is doing SO GOOD, AND we saw miracles in people we talked to in the street, people who for SURE were ready, AND we saw a car off the side of the road!
seperate line for this story,. we go to see if we can help and her car just shut off and so we're ya know inviting her to the christmas party and giving her a card and stuff and a cop pulls up and asks to help, and as she's talking to us a car coming didn't switch lanes or see us on the edge and LITERALLY WE HAD TO PULL THE COP OUT OF THE WAY cause the car was like an inch from wiping her out... it was scary.... BUT THEN we pushed her car off the road and it's really easy in neutral on flat ground but guys you don't feel so cool when a tiny tinnnnnnnny hill comes and suddenly you are pushing with all your might and look ridiculous and your face is gonna explode and it doesn't move an inch,. hahahahah anyway she was awesome though.
OKAY and so the point is miracles happen and God wants us to work. and he keeps his promises. aaaand it was just a goooood day :)
OKAY ANYWAY. i'm out of time. NOOOO!
